Welcome to a new year. We've got a lot to do and The Platia has a few classes on offer already.

In January, The Platia is hosting a deescalation event that is at capacity. If you want to attend the next one, please let me know.

In February, join us for a CPR class. The certified trainers and dummy for this class are expensive, so there will be a small cost to attend. For that price, you will be trained in CPR, and also leave with emergency items you may need for your community, and we will have beverages.

In the meantime, if you know someone who would like to come, please have them sign up for the event alerts below so they will get the invite once it's live.

In March, we will host overdose prevention again.

As always, if there's a training you want that I have not offered, let me know. There's a lot to be done right now, from feeding neighbors, to childcare and other community support roles. Let me know what would help you to learn more about.
