On December 3 I am hosting a workshop for creators in Philly where we'll learn how to cite public records and file Freedom of Information requests for documentation that you believe should be accessed by the public.

This is part of a program I am building in partnership with my work with News Creator Corps, where I run training efforts to teach journalism skills to content creators, with a mission to fight misinformation. The training will be taught by Muck Rock, a transparency non-profit that offers journalism tools and training.

These are skills usually reserved for journalists in-the-know, but we're opening this up to everyone. This event is for people who create content in any form, with any number of followers. We'll have a happy hour with snacks, and then get into the training.
